Perennials – all are native to the Eastern USA
1.    Tickseed – Coreppsis
2.    Wild Lupine – Lupinus perennis
3.    Butterfly Weed - Asclepias tuberosa
4.    Purple Coneflower – Echinacea purpurea
5.    Joe Pye Weed – Eutrchium purpareum
6.    Black-eyed Susan – Pudbeckia hirta
7.    New England Aster – Symphyotrichum novae-angliae
8.    Bee Balm or Wild Bergamot – Monarda fistulosa
9.    Showy Goldenrod – Solidago speciosa
10.  Culver’s Root – Veronicastrum virginicum
 

Grasses – again native plants
1.    Little Blue Stem
2.    Indian Grass
3.    Virginia Wild Rye
4.    Pennsylvania Sedge
5.    Wood Fern

Trees along the back area we planted 3 trees that would attract birds and bees – Amelanchier, Autumn Brilliance – a native tree from the Adirondacks with white flowers in the Spring
